About TARA
Everything Pilipinas,
in one place.
TARA is a free, independent home page made for Filipinos, here and abroad. Instead of juggling a dozen tabs to catch the headlines, plan a trip, find a hospital or reach a government office, you open one page and it's all there, clean, fast and in one design.
And when you want to talk about it, TARA comes with TaraChat, a live community where you can hop into a voice room, go on cam and hang out with people who get it.

Why we built it
A home page that respects your time
The Filipino internet is huge, scattered and noisy. TARA is our answer: one calm starting point that's honest about where everything comes from.
- Free for everyone
Browsing TARA costs nothing and doesn't need an account.
- Straight to the source
News opens on the newsroom's site, agencies on their official site. We link, we don't copy.
- Credit where it's due
Photos and descriptions carry their author and license, listed in the page's Credits.
- Made for Filipinos
Philippine time, Philippine festivals, Philippine places. Built for how we actually live online.
